The Making of a Sonnet PDF ePub eBook

Books Info:

The Making of a Sonnet free pdf In this illuminating, celebratory anthology, two major poets focus on the most classic and enduring of the sonnet's chronological vicissitudes. They pay particular attention to how individual poets - from Shakespeare to Strand - have claimed these fourteen lines: lengthened them, shortened them, elaborated on them and, in turn, been defined by them. With more than three hundred poems, "The Making of a Sonnet" guides readers through a history of the form up to its resurgence in contemporary poetry.
