About Martyn Cornick

MARTYN CORNICK is Senior Lecturer in the Department of French Studies at the University of Birmingham. His most recent book was Intellectuals in History: The Nouvelle Revue Francaise under Jean Paulham and The French Secret Service (with Peter Morris). - CERI CROSSLEY is Professor Nineteenth-Century French Studies at the University of Birmingham. He has published books and articles on aspects of nineteenth-century French culture and politics and on Anglo-French cultural relations. His books include French Historians and Romanticism and he is co-editor of Correspondence Generale de Jules Michelet.
