Harvey J S Withers is the author of British Military Swords 1786-1912: The Regulation Patterns, World Swords 1400-1945 (both Studio Jupiter Military Publishing) and The Scottish Sword 1600-1945 (Paladin Press). Dr Tobias Capwell is Curator of Arms and Armour at the world-famous Wallace Collection in London. He has worked at the Royal Armouries, Leeds, and as Curator of Arms and Armour at Glasgow Museums, where he produced The Real Fighting Stuff: Arms and Armour at Glasgow Museums.
