About Trudy Brandenburg

Trudy Brandenburg is an avid kayaker and writer. Over the past fifteen years, she has paddled on many rivers and lakes, the North Atlantic, North Pacific, and the Gulf of Mexico. She is a member of the Southern Ohio Floaters Association (SOFA) paddling club based in her hometown of Chillicothe, Ohio. Her writing has appeared in various publications including an essay about her parents which received an honorable mention in the "Chillicothe Gazette 2014 My Scioto Magazine." This is her third novel in "The Emma Haines Kayak Mystery Series." When she's not writing, kayaking, reading, playing piano, or creating her designer greeting cards, you may find her strolling through Clintonville, Ohio, with her basset hound, Millie.
