Furthermore, it also contains, names of some of some of the topographical (geographical) structures, like rivers, mountains or hills- common names, of people, trees, plants and animal and some short stories and or tales written in hiam Ham. While this book is not, by any stretch of the imagination, exhaustive, nevertheless, it is by far the most comprehensive document that might contain the largest number of words, idioms and idiomatic expression in the language of the Jaba people in Central Nigeria anywhere in the world!

About Daniel M N McDikkoh

Dr. Daniel M.N. McDikkoh was born in Jzheik Town or Kurmin Musa, the former Zaria Province and now Kaduna State of Nigeria. He was the sixth child of a family of eleven children. He started his education at Sudan Interior Mission (SIM) Elementary (primary 1-4, after spending four years in primary one alone) and senior primary (5-7) from 1951 through 1962. He then went to the Kagoro Bible College where he spent two years (1963 -1964) and he then proceeded to the Sudan United Mission Nursing Training School at the Vom Christian Hospital from 1965 through 1968. Following the successful completion of his nursing education, he was sent to Gindiri and Schools Dispensary where he stayed for a year- from Gindiri and schools, he then went to work for the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria (1970 1971) and then the A.B.U. Main Campus Sick Bay in 1972, from where he left for the United States for further studies early in January, 1973. Dr. McDikkoh first studied from 1974 - 1975 at the Essex Community College and the proceeded to study nursing from 1975 through 1978 and graduated with a baccalaureate nursing science degree at the Rutgers State University. Following the completion of the nursing program, he then proceeded to obtain Masters of Education (M.Ed.) in nursing education and, the Masters of Arts (M.A.) in nursing supervision in 1980- from 1983 through 1985, he did studied as a Ph.D degree program at Rutgers State University of New jersey, New Brunswick, New Jersey and later on transferred to Study Health Care Administration at Southwestern University, New Orleans, Louisiana where he completed his doctoral studies in 1990. In 1989 he enrolled and studied medicine at the Spartan health Sciences University in St. Lucia in the Caribbean Islands of West Indies. He completed his studies and received his degree, medical doctor in 1994. After graduating from the medical school, he returned to Nigeria, between 1996 and 2001 where he founded and operated the Tijzheik Memorial clinic in Kurmin Musa. Dr. Daniel McDikkoh currently resides in El Paso, Texas with his wife Leticia and four daughters: Diana celestia, Cynthia Gimbiya, Danielle Gimbia, who were brought from Nigerian 2007, and Epiphany Seim. He is a Professor of Nursing at the El Paso Community College where he has been teaching since 2003. He has traveled far and wide in West Africa, North America-including Canada and Mexico-Europe, the Caribbeans and parts of the Middle East, including Israel- he enjoys out door sports like soccer, tennis, hiking and bike riding.
