Books Info:

Preserved Warships of the World free pdf As an ex Navy man and lover of ships, the Author always felt sad seeing vessels towed off to ship-breakers- he decided eight years ago to try and document as many preserved ships as possible. He was involved in the preservation of HMS Belfast in London, having worked in the engine room whilst being made ready for display- he also raised funds to buy HMS Alliance, the submarine on display at Gosport, Hampshire. Gerry acknowledges his deepest appreciation to all those dedicated people around the world who spend much time and labour preserving these beautiful warships, saving them for posterity.
