Psychoanalysis by Mail free pdf Psychoanalysis by Mail records a correspondence between Professor Daniel Joseph Emonds and Dr. Victor Wolfenberg took place just before the fall of the Soviet Union at a time when the relations between the US and the USSR were improving. This was during the early dawn of glasnost and perestroika, but before the formerly subject nations, such as Poland and Czechoslovakia, had entirely won their independence from the Russian monolith. The exchange between Professor Emonds and Dr. Wolfenberg recorded here, took place in that distant era before satellite phones and instant messaging had changed our style of communication and thereby transformed our lives. What occurred in that distant day was, therefore, a rather formal exchange of letters between Professor Emonds and Dr. Victor Wolfenberg. This epistolary exchange may represent the first (and perhaps the only) psychoanalysis conducted by long distance mail.

About Dr Jon Amsden Phd

Jon Amsden was born in the New York City area, brought up and educated in upstate New York where he graduated from Cornell University before going on to receive a PhD from the London School of Economics. The author has taught at ESADE in Barcelona, at Des Arts et Metiers in Paris, and as a visiting professor at the University of California Los Angeles where, due to union organizing activities, he was asked to visit elsewhere after three years of teaching. What followed was writing books which included a history of the Earth and its mass extinctions, a chronicle of the invasion of Mexico by Cortes and his conquistadors in 1519, and more recently an ironic memoir on personal development disguised as a novel. Currently the author is preparing a Spanish translation of the book on Mexico, so there is more to come
