American Theatre Book of Monologues PDF ePub eBook

Books Info:

American Theatre Book of Monologues free pdf Two volumes of audition pieces selected from the best new American plays of the last 15 years - and therefore not available in other books of monologues These two selections of monologue material for actors were drawn from the ninety new American plays published in American Theatre magazine over the last 15 years. Amongst the ninety, the best-known authors are: Edward Albee, Eric Bogosian, Richard Greenberg, Tony Kushner, David Mamet, Steve Martin, Richard Nelson, Sam Shepard, Paula Vogel, Naomi Wallace, Wendy Wasserstein, and George C. Wolfe. But because most of the plays have yet to be seen on this side of the Atlantic, the result is two volumes crammed with fresh material, often by well-known writers, which has not yet been rendered stale by overuse - which is the fate of too much material in most other books of audition pieces.
