About Kevin S. Decker

Kevin S. Decker is Associate Professor of Philosophy andAssociate Dean of the College of Arts, Letters, and Education atEastern Washington University, USA. He specializes in researchingAmerican pragmatism, Continental philosophy, ethics, philosophy inpopular culture, and social theory. Professor Decker has co-editeda string of books on the links between philosophy and popularculture, including Star Wars and Philosophy (2005, withJason T. Eberl), Star Trek and Philosophy (2008, also withJason T. Eberl), and, with Richard Brown, Terminator andPhilosophy (Wiley-Blackwell 2009).

William Irwin is Professor of Philosophy at King sCollege. He originated the philosophy and popular culture genre ofbooks as coeditor of the bestselling The Simpsons andPhilosophy and has overseen recent titles including Supermanand Philosophy, Black Sabbath and Philosophy, andSpider-Man and Philosophy.
