About Thierry Balzacq

Thierry Balzacq is Tocqueville Professor of International Relations at the University of Namur in Belgium. His most recent books include Theories de la securite (forthcoming), Contesting Security (editor, Routledge, 2014), and Traite de Relations internationales (co-edited with F. Ramel, 2013). Myriam Dunn Cavelty is Lecturer for Security Studies at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Her research focuses on the politics of risk and uncertainty in security politics, with a specific focus on cyber-issues. She was co-editor of the Routledge Handbook of Security Studies (1st edn, 2009), co-editor of Power and Security in the Information Age (2007), and author of Cyber-Security and Threat Politics (Routledge 2007).
