About Tamer Ibrahim

Tamer Ibrahim was born in Kuwait in 1980 and graduated from medical school in 2003. He began writing stories at the age of 12 but gained recognition for his writing in 1999 when he won a competition that resulted in the publication of his first novel in 2000, 300 Daqiqah (300 Minutes). Ibrahim went on to publish several series of novels, including Awraq Maghul (The Papers of an Unknown), Aalam Akhar (Another World) and 'Abr al-Zaman (Across Time) as well as several short horror stories that were eventually published as Hikayat al-Qabu (Tales from the Crypt). He has worked with leading Egyptian horror writer Dr Ahmed Towfik on a collection of short stories entitled Qaws Quzah (The Rainbow). His first horror novel, Alladhi Lam Yamut (The One Who didn't Die) was published in 2010. Ibrahim has also written for TV, and is currently working on two shows, The Last Game, and Our Wedding Anniversary.
