About Theoni Pappas

Mathematics teacher and consultant Theoni Pappas received her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and her M.A. from Stanford University. Pappas is committed to demystifying mathematics and to helping eliminate the elitism and fear often associated with it. In 2000 she received The Excellence in Achievement Award from the University of California Alumni Association. Her books have been translated into Japanese, Finnish, French, Slovakian, Czech, Korean, Turkish, Russian, Thai, simplified and traditional Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, Vietnamese, and Spanish.
