About Stephen J. Wilson

Stephen Wilson is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology atthe Pennsylvania State University, USA where he is affiliated withthe Center for Brain, Behavior, and Cognition. Dr. Wilson sprimary area of research interest is addictive behavior, with afocus on cigarette smoking. He uses interdisciplinary approach thatintegrates theory and methods from traditional behavioral addictionresearch with those derived from the affective, cognitive andsocial neurosciences. His research has been supported by theNational Institute on Drug Abuse, the National Cancer Institute,and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Healthand Human Development.
