Chapters provide case histories, questions and exercises to assist the reader in gaining self-awareness and practical skills to be active and successful in their creative expression.

Lilian Wissink has over twenty years' experience as a counselling psychologist. Assisting people to discover and realise their potential by helping them to develop compassionate self-awareness and new skills is fundamental to her philosophy - an approach that is further supported by her own experience as a developing artist. She is a member of the Australian Psychology Society and the College of Counselling Psychologists, has appeared on radio and television and has presented numerous conference papers.
