About Ira Neimark

Ira Neimark, during 40 years in the retailing field, went 300 hundred feet across Fifth Avenue-from Bonwit Teller, where he held the most junior position in 1938 (assistant doorman), to Bergdorf Goodman, where his 18 year reign as CEO made him legendary among fashion retailers. After retiring from Bergdorfs, he launched a new career as an international retail advisor to such greats as Hermes of Paris, Mitsukoshi Ltd of Japan and many others. He resides in Westchester, New York.
