About NOLAN

Jennifer Nolan is an experienced mathematics author and publisher who has developed numerous textbooks and student resources. She has now joined Oxford to develop comprehensive resources for the new Australian Curriculum. Using recent education research and many years of teaching experience in both government and independent schools, she has developed a new approach based on 'big ideas' principles. She has led a talented team to produce learning materials that enhance student understanding and provide teacher support. Melanie Koetsveld is an experienced mathematics and science teacher, having worked in government secondary schools for many years. Before joining Oxford University Press, Melanie was the Head of Maths at Macleod Secondary College and was a contributing author to a successful Secondary Maths series. Melanie is currently pursuing her passion for Mathematics education as a specialist working on Australian Curriculum resources and Big Ideas Mathematics series for Oxford.Sonja Stambulic has worked in secondary schools for over 20 years and teaches both junior and senior mathematics. She is currently Head of Mathematics at Santa Maria College. Sonja has been involved in writing teaching and learning materials for the past 10 years and was a contributing author to a successful Secondary Maths Series. Robert Bell is a teacher of Maths and Science at St Kevin's College, Toorak, and has previously taught in government schools. He is passionate about high quality teaching of mathematics and the effective use of ICT in education. He is currently pursuing a postgraduate qualification in applied mathematics through Charles Sturt University.
