About Sally M. Rogow

For more than 20 years, Sally Rogow directed the University of British Columbia's preparation program for itinerant and resource teachers working with children who are blind or visually impaired, or who have multiple disabilities. Her research interests include language and social development and literacy. The author of Helping the Visually Impaired Child with Developmental Problems, Dr. Rogow has written more than 40 articles for various journals and frequently lectures in Canada and the United States. She is also a writer of children's books, and is a popular storyteller.
