It consists of literature in the broadest sense of the word: novels, poetry, short stories, popular science, memoirs, scholarly dissertations, text books, legal records etc. The topic is the years of occupation in their entirety- the everyday life as well as both national and local political circumstances, and co-operation and resistance of every kind: Allied sailors, voluntaries on the Eastern front, prisoners in the German concentration camps and others. The recording has been made on the basis of books, journals, indices and bibliographies and also on documentaries and feature films on the years of occupation, a total of 8600 entries.
